Economic Development Meeting Set For Pikeville

{Kentucky}...Senator Ray S. Jones II, D-Pikeville, is encouraging community and business leaders and other concerned citizens to attend an economic development meeting on Wednesday, August 3rd, in Pikeville.
“This meeting is part of the Kentucky Cabinet for Economic Development’s statewide economic development strategic plan -- Kentucky’s Unbridled Future -- to recruit new business and industry to the state. A series of ‘visioning’ meetings are scheduled across the state as part of the state’s plan to recruit new business and industry,” said Senator Jones. The meeting will be held from 9:00 A.M. to 12;00 P.M. ET at the East Kentucky Expo Center (Ballroom A and B). Boyette Strategic Advisors will lead and facilitate the meeting and will include participation from a broad cross-section of stakeholders from the area. The participants will be given the opportunity to share their thoughts and vision for the future of economic development in Kentucky. They also will have the opportunity to gain perspectives on a variety of issues affecting preparation for the statewide economic development plan. Senator Jones represents the 31st district, which includes Johnson, Martin and Pike counties.
