Fatal Motorcycle Accidents...One In Letcher County

{Kentucky}...Three men died in separate motorcycle accidents over the weekend. At 2:40 A.M. Saturday morning, a Lexmark employee found Kevin G. Allen dead in a line of bushes on the Lexmark property near the plant's Russell Cave Road entrance in Lexington. The motorcycle had left the road, hit a small tree and then hit a utility pole. Mark Fish, 42, of Mount Vernon, died Friday night at University of Kentucky Chandler Hospital after a motorcycle wreck in Pulaski County. Officials say Fish died of blunt force trauma after hitting another vehicle that was stopped at a traffic light in Ferguson. Friday morning, Jimmy Travis Walker, 40, from Clintwood, Virginia, died in a motorcycle crash in Jenkins. Police say Walker was riding a 2006 Suzuki motorcycle on U.S. 23 in Letcher County about 6:41 A.M. when he tried to pass another motorist and hit the rear tire of a coal truck that had pulled onto the road. Walker, who was wearing a helmet, was pronounced dead at the scene.
