Jenny Wiley State Resort Park Certified “Storm Ready”

{Prestonsburg, Kentucky}...Jenny Wiley State Resort Park in Prestonsburg has been certified by the National Weather Service as a “Storm Ready” facility. The park is the fifth state park in the nation to be recognized as Storm Ready, meaning the park will provide guests with severe weather information when checking in, including storm shelter locations and a listing of NOAA Weather Radio frequencies that serve the park. Fellow Kentucky resort parks round out the Storm Ready list, including Buckhorn, Dale Hollow, Natural Bridge and Lake Cumberland.
