Clay County Gets Tough On Child Support Violators

{Manchester, Kentucky}... It's like the Old West.  Persons who are behind in Child Support payments in Clay County will be featured all over the County on WANTED posters.  Clay County Attorney Clay Bishop says there are some persons who are $60,000 behind and he wants to draw attention to those violators.  He makes the point that the electric company can't put you in jail if you're behind, neither can a landlord...but...he can, and will.  He said if the person will come into his office and sign a pay agreement and make timely payments for three months he will then remove the WANTED posters from public view.  Until then, they will be stigmatized and shamed in the public eye.
