EQT Headquarters To Open

  • {Pikeville, Kentucky}...Despite EQT's drilling suspension in eastern Kentucky, Pike County officials say the construction on the new EQT headquarters at Scott Fork is on schedule and EQT will still have 200 new jobs at the plant. Pike County Judge Executive Wayne T. Rutherford says they're moving in by the first of February. Rutherford says, although their personnel will be brought from other areas, EQT has to hire new people at the headquarters to get two and a half million dollars in state tax breaks.
