Johnson County Pain Clinic Raided

{Paintsville, Kentucky}...Federal, state and local law enforcement raided a pain clinic in the Paintsville area of Johnson County Wednesday morning as search warrants were served at Care More Pain Management on Tays Branch Road. Attorney General Jack Conway's office says nine people were arrested in the parking lot during the raid on charges including public intoxication, DUI and for outstanding warrants. The clinic was also raided in February. Richard Albert, a former doctor at the clinic, was indicted last year and pleaded guilty in December to a federal charge of conspiring to illegally prescribe approximately 50,000 tablets of the painkiller Percocet. The DEA, Kentucky Attorney General's Office, Johnson County Sheriff's Department and Paintsville Police Department took part in the raid.
