Taiwan Government Contributes To Tornado Victims

{Frankfort, Kentucky}...The Taiwan government has contributed $30,000 for tornado relief efforts in Kentucky after tornadoes on March 2nd claimed 24 lives and destroyed homes and businesses. Anna Kao, director general of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Atlanta, delivered a check to the Kentucky Voluntary Organizations Active in Disasters Wednesday. Taiwanese officials also contributed $20,000 for storm recovery in Kentucky last year after storms caused widespread wind damage and flooding in the state. Governor Steve Beshear says the contribution is appreciated.
