Doctor Testifies In Floyd County Trial

{Prestonsburg, Kentucky}...Dr. James Walker, a forensic neuro-psychologist from Nashville, who was called to testify in the trial of Berry Hall Tuesday told jurors he believes Hall's actions were influenced by what he diagnosed as major depressive disorder. Walker, who interviewed Hall in December 2009, told jurors Hall’s IQ had been measured in the 70s, and Hall struggles with thinking and reasoning ability. Walker also testified he does not believe Hall ever fabricated or exaggerated the symptoms of mental or physical disorders for a variety of motives, which include seeking lighter criminal punishment.
