School Board Approves New Millard School

{Pikeville, Kentucky}...The Pike County School Board has approved construction plans for a new Millard School that will combine Millard Middle and Millard Elementary. Pike County Superintendent Roger Wagner says the new school is going to be a state of the art facility, with athletic facilities and technology classrooms, once it's completed. The new school will hold nearly 1100 students. The construction plans have to be approved by the state Board of Education before work can begin.
