{Pinetop, Kentucky}...KSP say 43 year old Donnie Gibson of Pinetop, in Knott County, went to his daughter's home on Spring Branch Road around 5:58 A.M. Wednesday morning and started an altercation with her boyfriend, 25 year old Dillon Cornett. Gibson's daughter says her dad kicked Cornett in the face with his steel toe boot and then lunged at him before Cornett got a gun and fatally shot Gibson. Coroner William Jeff Blair says there had been an ongoing disagreement between the two men over the last couple of days, but he did not know the nature of the disagreement.Wednesday, June 13, 2012
