Questcare Resumes Operations

Questcare's services in Pike, Floyd, Johnson, and Magoffin Counties have been reinstated, just weeks after the Kentucky Board of Emergency Medical Services suspended all of Questcare's licenses, citing mechanical issues in ambulances and a failed audit of continuing education by four employees. The Attorney General's office recently reviewed the suspension and decided KBEMS was wrong, saying "no substantial evidence was presented that Questcare could not meet its obligations." Martin County is the only county still under an order of suspension.
