County Judge Executives Attend Fall Retreat

The 13th annual county judge executive fall retreat started Thursday at the Jenny Wiley State Park in Floyd County before moving into Pike County, where 42 judge executives toured the mountains, including spots of the Hatfield and McCoy feud. Pike County Judge Executive Wayne T. Rutherford said the judges got a look at how you can responsibly mine coal and then have development. Tucker Daniel, President of the County Judge Executive Association, says the judges were blown away by the beauty of the StoneCrest Country Club in Prestonsburg.
