UPDATE: Prosecutors seek death penalty in triple murder case in Kentucky

A man and woman who are accused of murdering three people, including an 8-year-old, may now face the death penalty if convicted for the crime.
Jack D. Smith and Amanda Bowen, who were both arrested in connection to a fire that killed 8-year-old Trinity Maynard, 42-year-old Tina Goble, and 47-year-old Cainie Johnson in Martin County, KY, were indicted August 21.

The filing states that at the time of the murders the pair were also committing a robbery leading prosecutors to say the killings were intentional.
