Two people have been indicted on drug trafficking charges after an investigation by the Attorney General's statewide prescription drug task force.
On April 7, investigators from the Attorney General's Office, along with the Floyd County Sheriff's Office, executed a search warrant at a home in Harold.
During the search, investigators say they found 360 pills, including oxycodone, hydrocodone, alprazolam and tramadol, with an estimated street value of $4,300.
They also say they found multiple handguns, worth more than $7,600.
43 year old Karen Clifton of Harold, was indicted on three counts of trafficking in a controlled substance.
33 year old James J. Adams of Prestonsburg, is charged with two counts of trafficking in a controlled substance.
Both were indicted by a Floyd County Grand Jury this week.
