FEMA opens disaster recovery center in Lawrence County

The Federal Emergency Management Agency is opening a disaster recovery center in Lawrence County.

The center will help people and business owners who were affected by severe storms and mudslides from April 2nd to April 17th.

It will open at noon today and remain open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Saturday.

Specialists will be on hand to answer questions on the types of assistance available.

The center is located at the Lawrence County Community Center in Louisa.
