President Declares Federal Disaster in West Virginia

West Virginia will get federal help to deal with the severe weather that occurred from April 3rd-5th 2015.

The federal dollars will help pay for the recovery efforts in the areas affected by the storms, flooding, landslides and mudslides.

The money will go to the State and some local governments for emergency repair and replacement work.

The counties involved include Boone, Cabell, Lincoln, Logan, Mingo and Wayne.

Briefings will be held across the state in the affected areas to begin the application process.
