Curtis enters governor's race

The Kentucky governor’s race is a little more crowded. Drew Curtis, of Louisville, founder of the popular news website Fark.com, has filed to run as an independent candidate. He is joined by his wife, Heather, as his running mate. Curtis says on his website that he is running as an independent because his candidacy is about solutions, not politics. The Curtis slate needed 5,000 signatures on the petition to be listed on the November ballot. Secretary of State Alison Lundergan Grimes confirmed Monday that he had met the requirement.
