UPike presidential search down to three
A search committee has narrowed the number of finalists for the vacant presidency at the University of Pikeville. After the four finalists made campus visits to meet with students and faculty last month, the committee had planned to cut the number to two. However, citing a very competitive field, the committee instead selected three finalists to submit to the school’s board of directors. They include Abilene Christian University executive vice president Allison Garrett … Lenoir-Rhyne University vice president Drew Van Horn … and Northwest Nazarene University vice president Burton Webb. The three candidates will be interviewed by the board’s executive committee October 19th. A final recommendation will then be made to the full board at its October 30th meeting.
