Missing Logan County couple found safe; Silver Alert canceled

State police canceled a Silver Alert Tuesday afternoon after a Logan County couple was located safe in Lincoln County.

Police began looking for Harrison Duty, 77, and his wife, Roseann Duty, 75, of Sharples, after they didn’t return home following a trip to get something to eat in the Madison area Sunday afternoon.

Mr. Duty suffers from Dementia and Mrs. Duty has a heart condition and family members and police were concerned about potential medical issues.

The two were found alive along Heartland Haul Road near Harts Tuesday afternoon.

Details of the discovery were not immediately available.
